River Run for the Roots

The River Run for the Roots is an annual 5K run/walk from the Common Roots Brewery to benefit its nonprofit, the Common Roots Foundation. This looped course starts and finishes in the Park & Ride lot behind Common Roots at 58 Saratoga Ave., South Glens Falls, NY. The scenic course winds through the village of South Glens Falls, including the Betar Byway along the Hudson River. About a half mile of the course ventures onto a gravel path (the SGF Beach Bikeway) while the rest is paved. Come join us after the race and enjoy beer and food at the brewery! Awards will be given for overall winners, age-group winners, and a stroller division.

Beat the Brewers Disc Golf Challenge

Do you have what it takes to Beat the Brewers? Gather your team of 4 and join the Common Roots Brew Crew in our fifth annual Disc Golf Challenge! It will be a fun day of friendly competition and tasty beer in support of the Common Roots Foundation. Challenge yourself with the Ring of Fire, Longest Drive, and Closest to the Pin competitions for your chance to win Common Roots swag and other gifts. And of course, the CRBC beer truck will be there and our staff will be cooking up some delicious snacks throughout the day.
